David Stringer currently resides in Oakville ON where he is enrolled in the Advanced Visual and Creative Arts course at Sheridan College. Born in Mississauga and raised in Wasaga Beach, Dave has always had a knack for art. In High School he excelled in his art courses including Media Arts, and Visual Arts. After High School he backpacked across Western Europe for two months to gain insight and inspiration, and then came back to Canada to fine tune his skills.

Dave dabbles in all forms of art; photography, digital media, sculpting, painting, sketching, in all mixes and mediums. His works range from cartoons to realism and even abstraction. Currently Dave has completed a volunteer mural at a local High School, and produced renditions for a large land development company. His inspirations are broad from Shawn Barber, Salvador Dali, to Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollack. Dave personally enjoys working with mixed media such as spray paint, oils, acrylics, water colours, and sometimes fire to produce his pieces.
